The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has made the following operational changes for Friday, January 7, at several COVID-19 testing sites due to the cold weather.
In Topeka, the COVID-19 testing sites located at Hummer Sports Park, 515 SW Tuffy Kellogg Dr., and Walmart, 2630 SE California Ave., will be closed. KDHE will open an additional testing site located in the breezeway of the Curtis State Office Building, 1000 SW Jackson St. This is a drive-up location only. The hours for this site will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The following COVID-19 testing sites will be closed:
- Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66210
- Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, 5009 W 137th St, Leawood, KS 66224
- Manhattan Town Center, 100 Manhattan Town Center, Manhattan, KS 66502
- Lawrence Walmart, 3300 Iowa St, Lawrence, KS 66046
