Stream Advisory Rescinded

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded a stream advisory that was issued July 21, 2023 for Buckner Creek located North of Cimarron, Kansas from Gray County Road 20 to Horsethief Canyon Lake in Hodgeman County.

The stream advisory was a result of water contamination from a confined animal feeding operation.

The advisory was issued because elevated bacteria and contaminants may have been present in Buckner Creek located North of Cimarron, Kansas.
