The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is excited to announce the return of the downtown Capitol Midweek Farmers Market, beginning Wednesday, June 1 at 7:30 a.m..
“For the past two years, many have been asking when the farmers market will be back,” Mende Barnett of KDHE, said. “Now we can happily tell them that we are excited to be back and once again offering fresh fruits, vegetables and more downtown.”
This year the market will feature familiar farmers and vendors and is open every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to noon through October 12 on the south side of the Kansas State Capitol on10th Street between SW Jackson Street and Topeka Boulevard.
Parking is available in any metered parking stall that is open. Hooded meters are reserved for vendors and should not be used.
