Solid Waste Public Notices

As part of the approval process, applications for solid waste facilities must be put on public notice for a 30 day period. For each facility name listed, you may view a copy of the permit application as well as a copy of the public notice as it appears in the Kansas Register. The public notice period appears with the facility location.

COVID-19 Notice

On April 9, 2020, the Governor issued Executive Order (EO) 20-19, which extended professional and occupational licenses during the COVID-19 pandemic, including renewal fees and requirements. Pursuant to EO 21-22, which was issued on April 22, 2021, a state agency may cease extension of such licenses and renewal requirements by issuing a notice on its website to such effect. Therefore, after 15 days from the date this notice is published (July 12, 2021) unsubmitted renewal fees or renewal requirements for any permit issued pursuant to Kansas Statutes Annotated (K.S.A.) 65-3407 and 65-3424b that were not submitted during the period when EO 20-19 was in effect shall become due upon notification to the permit holder by the Bureau of Waste Management.
