Household Hazardous Waste Training

The 24-Hour Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Course that is required by K.A.R 28-29-1102e is offered each March and October by KDHE-Bureau of Waste Management.    No HHW worker can sort, segregate, or process HHW without supervision if they have not taken the 24-Hour HHW Training Course.  The KDHE-BWM covers the cost of the course for HHW workers that are currently employed by a KDHE permitted County/City HHW program.   Email correspondence is sent to city/county HHW programs with course dates and other important course information.   If you have any questions please email Jeff Walker or 785-291-3764.
