Management of Occupational Exposures

Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is adopting K.A.R. 28-1-23 to comply with requirements of Senate Substitute for House Bill 2183 (HB 2183) enacted during the 2013 legislative session. This is designed to address gaps in state law regarding prevention, control, and appropriate management of occupational exposure to infectious diseases, which will result in improved health protection for workers. A public hearing was held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 1:30 p.m.
