Public Health Services Guide
The Division of Public Health works to promote and protect health and prevent disease and injury, collaborating with local health departments and other organizations to help assure the health of all Kansans through public health services, policy development, and regulatory programs. - Additionally, a central registry is maintained so providers can check on previous STD history of their patients
- Individualized STD morbidity statistics are available upon request
- Provides confidential partner notification and referral services to individuals who test positive for an STD (including HIV), their sex partners, and other individuals who are at-risk
- The program also conducts educational and training sessions for the public, community-based organizations, laboratories, and public and private providers
