Violent Death Data

We collect and provide statistical data to promote public health and prevent violent death. A violent death is a death from the intentional use of physical force or power against oneself, another person or against a group or community that includes suicide, homicide, legal intervention, unintentional firearm, and undetermined death.

In linking information about the "who, when, where and how" from data on violent deaths we can provide insights about "why" they occurred.
