The State of Kansas WIC Program publishes a list of WIC approved foods every two years. Our food list is frequently updated, and the most current version can be found by viewing the “WIC Approved Food List”.

Process & Timeframes for Food Review Process

The current published food list is effective until October 2021. The next food review process for brand-specific products (infant cereal, baby food, yogurt, soy beverage, tofu, juice, cereal, tortillas, and pasta), will begin in January 2021. Nonbrand specific products (milk, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, fish, beans (canned or dried), bread, and brown rice), can be submitted at any time. If you have questions, please email Janna Gunckle.
