Hope Starts Now

Throughout pregnancy and parenting there are many milestones along the way. For a mother with substance abuse disorder, one of the most life changing can be reaching out for help.

Hope Starts Now encourages pregnant and parenting women experiencing opioid use disorder or substance use to seek support and treatment by calling the Parent Helpline at 800-CHILDREN. The Parent Helpline is a free, anonymous information and referral service in Kansas. It provides a trained person on the other end who will listen, empathize with your situation, and offer support. The Helpline is available 24/7 in English and Spanish.

Hope starts now, and sometimes hope needs help.
